Coconut fibre has unique properties such as moth-proof, anti-bacterial, rot-proof and resilient. It is a traditional material for mattresses and cushions and is prevalent in the market. However, coconut fibre is shredded from the coconut shell. Coconut fibre has a moisture content of 30-45%. Traditional processing methods involve 3 to 5 days of natural drying, thus wasting an excessive amount of time and labour. As the coconut fibre also experiences a long stagnation without water. The material becomes darker in colour, the original gold colour fades, moulds and mixes with silt impurities. The quality of the product was affected.

Taking into account the characteristics of coconut fibre which is flammable, caking and slagging, ZOOMJO GROUP has designed and developed a new type of drying plant for coconut fibre (palm fibre). A range of technologies and techniques have been used to solve this problem, thus ensuring good drying results and cleanliness. The coconut fibre dryer can dry coconut fibre with a moisture content of 30-45% and quickly dry finished products with a moisture content of less than 15%.

The coconut fibre dryer produced by ZOOMJO GROUP is directly connected to the coconut fibre separator, enabling a complete process of drying the shredded coconut, sorting the coir, desalting and dehydrating and drying within 40 minutes, it is energy efficient and environmentally friendly and the quality of the coconut and coir can be guaranteed. After the high temperature treatment, the coconut meat and coconut fibre become cleaner. In order to reduce the drying cost of the shredded coconut and to improve the controllability of the drying technology, a frequency-controlled motor is equipped to control the temperature automatically. Depending on the moisture content of the silk fibre raw material, the operating parameters can be set arbitrarily to achieve the desired drying effect.

Designed and manufactured for coconut fiber material, the structure is unique, low energy consumption and high thermal efficiency; and the coconut fiber dryer has a unique heating method, refusing high temperature and open fire, the colour, strength and elasticity of the finished silk fiber changes before and after drying, and the operation is safe.

The coconut fibre dryer is mainly composed of hot air furnace, feeding conveyor, drum dryer, discharging conveyor, dust collector, power distribution cabinet, etc.; after sorted coconut fibre enters the dryer, it is evenly dispersed and fully contacted with hot air when the evenly distributed gear stirring device inside the drum is rotating, rapidly transferring heat and drying, and then discharging to the drum outlet.
